In 1989 a small group of families had a vision - to help and support families, who, like themselves, are affected by a child with cancer.
Their aims were simple - to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and to provide their families with support through the unimaginable stress that they live with day after day.
Now, as then, it is still that same simple aim and vision that is the backbone of the Trust.
Over the years, the way in which the Trust helps families has broadened, from emotional and practical support for the whole family such as befriending and bereavement support to Play Therapy and holidays in Florida.
The Christian Lewis Trust Children's Cancer Charity believes quality of life for children with cancer is a right, to work with them and their families is a privilege.
